5 Ways To Stop Smoking The Hard Way
By Eric Hartwell
Way Number 1
Get some stout rope and a enlist the help of a good friend. Whilst standing upright, get your friend to tie both of your arms behind your back. Tell your friend to make sure it is tight enough to begin to draw blood from your wrists. Then, as a finishing touch, get him or her to sick duck tape over your mount.
Way Number 2
Dig a deep hole approximately 10 feet from the ground surface. Place a previously prepared wooden crate containing books, water, some titbits of food and an oxygen cylinder into the hole and pull over a strong lid. Get your friend to fill in the hole over the crate. Remain there for 10 weeks.
Way Number 3
Get a friend to buy a sledgehammer. Your friend stands beside you with the hammer. Instruct your friend to smash your right foot with the sledgehammer every time you have (or attempt to have) a cigarette.
Way Number 4
Get some scuba gear, a large boat and a group of talented marine lovers. Let them take you far out into the Pacific Ocean. Submerge yourself (after appropriate training) 30 or 40 metres below sea level in your scuba gear. Read a book if you get bored.
Way Number 5
Climb Mount Everest. The trick here (apart from mere survival skills) is to play a trick on people and “accidentally” leave your last packet of cigarettes at Base Camp. People will laugh and applaud you when they see you not only reach the summit but also do it smoke-free.
